Mike, you were unique. We'll never forget you. it was a pleasure working together in Cat shows many years ago. Over the years, we loved going to see you act. It didn't matter what play it was--if you were in it, we wanted to see it. We'll never forget some of your jokes and stunts, i.e. playing Charades at a Cat Chorus party when you acted out a two-year-old being potty trained, finishing up by being flushed down the toilet! It was hilarious! You brought so much joy to so many in the Peoria area and beyond. It was a privilege to have you for a friend. We will miss you, dear Mike. Our sympathy to your wonderful family.

Larry and I have so many fond memories of Mike working at Conklin Players. When he was on stage, the lights seemed a bit brighter and the audience laughter was definitely louder. I wonder if Mike and Chaunce are rehearsing "Arsenic & Old Lace" in Heaven? I'll bet they are. "Always leave 'em laughing..."

Legend |

What a legend, Mr. Dentino is! I'll always remember him as one of my grandfather's best friends and one of the finest character actors the Peoria area has ever seen. The outpouring of love and remembrance from the theatre community via Facebook reminds me of the affect Mr. Dentino has had on the theatre community, and our community in general. Let us continue his legacy in our art! To Mike!
